The Hotel Alaska is located directly on the ski slopes, as well as near the ski lifts that join the slopes of Folgarida, Marilleva, Madonna di Campiglio and Pinzolo. Here you can have fun and enjoy more than 150 km of ski slopes where you can do traditional skiing as well as freeriding, snowboarding and Telemark skiing.

Skiing, snowshoeing, the authentic taste of Trentino cuisine, shopping and fun at any time of day: this is the large Campiglio Dolomiti di Brenta-Val di Sole-Val Rendena Skiarea. With just one Ski pass you can ski on more than 150 km of slopes in Folgarida, Marilleva, Madonna di Campiglio and Pinzolo; the last two are located in the stunning landscape of the Brenta Dolomites.
During a winter holiday you won’t have to struggle: the 60 ski lifts allow you to enjoy every single slope using just one ski pass!
The slopes in Folgarida and Marilleva
Starting with your skis on your feet from our Hotel you can choose from 21 blue slopes, 12 red slopes and 8 black slopes in the Folgarida Marilleva Skiarea. The slopes reach an altitude of 2,180 metres above sea level and pass through characteristic natural environments: dense coniferous forests, wide panoramic clearings and breath-taking views of the Dolomites.
The slopes in Madonna di Campiglio and Pinzolo
The slopes in Madonna di Campiglio and Pinzolo on the other hand descend directly from the Dolomites: 66 slopes and 34 ski lifts will ensure fantastic days on the snow. In the evening numerous bars fill these two nightlife locations with light and life.
Cross-country skiing
Not just downhill but also cross-country skiing! A really complete sport that is good for the body and the soul to be done at your own speed surrounded by breath-taking scenery.
Are you fans of this sport? In Campo Carlo Magno an alpine pass that is less than 10 minutes in the car from the Hotel Alaska there is a Cross-country skiing Centre with three circuits of 2.5, 5 and 10 km.
Snowboarding in the Dolomites
If on the other hand you prefer doing tricks on a snowboard don’t miss the 14,000 sq. m area equipped with boxes, rails, kickers, boarder crosses and Big Air Bags in the Marilleva-Val Panciana Snowpark.
Climb on the Sghirlat chairlift that will take you to 1,800 m above sea level and have fun with the expert and beginner slopes with an average gradient of 25%. Thanks to the snow-making system the Marilleva-Val Panciana Snowpark is open all through the winter season.
Try Telemark skiing
Choosing the Folgarida-Marilleva Ski Area you can also try Telemark skiing, the forerunner of modern skiing. This particular skiing style is done with “free heels”: physical strength, balance, coordination and a sense of complete freedom will win you over.
